Margaretha 2 & 3
Artist edition of Marcel Breuer's B 9 chairs.
The poster gives an overview of the two editions – "Margaretha 2" & "Margaretha 3" – Jay Gard designed in collaboration with the Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau & Thonet on the occasion of his artist residency at Oskar Schlemmer's Meisterhaus in summer 2019.
The color concept is based on Margarathe Reichardt's work "Kinderzimmerteppich" (1929) who was one of the most successful female designers at the time.
"Margaretha 1" is part of the collection in the new Bauhaus Museum Dessau.
